Terms of Use

The rules for using Bot Creator.

These terms apply to the Bot Creator apps, web Studio, Manager API, runners and dashboards. Paid subscriptions are also covered by the Terms of Sale, and personal data by the privacy policy.

1. Purpose and acceptance

By creating an account or using Bot Creator, you accept these terms.

Bot Creator is a set of tools to build, run and monitor Discord bots: apps for mobile and desktop, a web Studio, a cloud service (the Manager) that stores and runs bots, runners, web dashboards and an AI Copilot. These terms set the rules for using them.

If you do not accept them, do not create an account and stop using the service. If you use the apps only on your device without an account, these terms still apply to what you do with the software and its optional online features.

2. Who we are

Bot Creator is published by Jeremy SOLER, sole trader in France.

Jeremy SOLER, Entrepreneur Individuel, 9 rue Gagnée, 94200 Ivry-sur-Seine, France, SIRET 883 556 128 00014, [email protected]. See also the legal notice. Bot Creator is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Discord.

3. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for what is done with it.

You can sign in with Discord or, where offered, with an email address and a password. Give accurate information and keep your credentials secret. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access to your account.

You must be old enough to consent to the processing of your data in your country (15 in France). Below that age, a parent or guardian must agree. Discord sets its own minimum age, which you must also respect.

You can delete your account at any time from the settings of the app or the Studio, or by writing to us. See “Ending your use”.

4. Your bots and your content

You stay in charge of your bots; we only run what you configure.

The commands, workflows, scripts, variables and other content you create remain yours. You give us the permission needed to store, copy and run them in order to provide the service (including backups and version history), and nothing more.

You are responsible for your bots and for what they do on Discord, including towards the members of the servers where they run. You must comply with the Discord Terms of Service, the Discord Developer Policy and the law. For personal data your bots collect or store through Bot Creator, you are the controller and we act as your processor, on your instructions.

Your bot token is a credential. If you save it to the cloud, we store it encrypted and use it only to connect your bot. Revoke it in the Discord developer portal if you think it has leaked.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Bot Creator to harm people, Discord or our infrastructure.

You must not:

  • break the law or the rights of others, or use a bot for harassment, scams, hate, sexual content involving minors, or other content Discord prohibits;
  • send spam or unsolicited messages in bulk, or run self-bots or automation on user accounts (only bot accounts are supported);
  • collect personal data from members without a legal basis, or sell or license data obtained from Discord;
  • run malware or code meant to attack, scan or overload our servers, other users’ bots or third parties, or try to escape the sandbox in which scripts run;
  • bypass quotas, limits, ads or payment requirements, resell the service, or abuse free credits (including through several accounts);
  • probe, test or disturb the service without our written permission. To report a vulnerability, write to us first.

6. AI Copilot

The Copilot suggests; you decide.

The Copilot can write or change commands, workflows and settings. Its answers can be wrong or incomplete. Read what it proposes before approving it: you are responsible for the actions you approve, including their effect on your bots and Discord servers.

Your messages and the context needed to answer (bot configuration, commands, runtime state, tool results) are sent to a third-party AI provider, DeepSeek, which processes them in China. Credentials and email addresses are masked before sending, but other personal data is not recognised. Do not send tokens or personal data about other people. The Copilot asks for your consent before first use; the details are in the privacy policy.

AI credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged between accounts, and may be limited or withdrawn in case of abuse.

7. Plans, ads and prices

The free version is supported by ads; paid plans remove them or add hosting.

The free version of the apps shows ads. Paid subscriptions, bought in the app stores or on the web, are governed by the Terms of Sale, which prevail for everything about price, billing, renewal, cancellation, withdrawal and refunds.

Limits (number of bots, hosting, runtime credits, scheduled tasks, webhooks) depend on your plan and are shown in the app. If a paid subscription ends, the features that depended on it stop at the end of the period already paid.

8. Availability and changes

We do our best, without promising the service will never stop.

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that it is free of errors. Maintenance, updates, failures of our providers or of Discord can interrupt your bots. Keep your own backups of what matters (the apps can export your bots).

We may change, add or remove features. If a change removes something you paid for, we will announce it in advance in the app and on our Discord server, and the rights you have under the Terms of Sale remain.

9. Your data

The privacy policy says what we keep and for how long.

The privacy policy lists what we collect, why, who receives it and your rights. In short: you can export your data and delete your account yourself; the history of command executions is kept for 30 days; the team chat of a bot is kept until you delete it or your account.

10. Ending your use

You can leave at any time; we can suspend an account that breaks these rules.

You can delete your account at any time. This permanently deletes your account, your bots and their data, as described in the privacy policy; billing records we must keep by law are retained. Cancel any subscription in the store or Studio where you bought it: deleting the app or the account is not always enough, and the Studio deletion cancels web subscriptions first.

We may suspend or close an account, or stop a bot, that breaks these terms, puts the service or others at risk, or is used for fraud. Where possible we will warn you first (in the app or through Discord) and let you export your data. We may act immediately when needed to stop harm, or when Discord or a store requires it.

11. Third-party services

Discord, the stores and our providers have their own terms.

Bot Creator depends on Discord, Apple, Google, Stripe, cloud and AI providers. Their terms apply to their services, and we are not responsible for their decisions (for example if Discord limits or bans a bot or an account).

12. Liability

We are liable as the law requires, and no more than it allows us to limit.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where the law does not allow it, nor the rights you have as a consumer.

Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows: Bot Creator is provided as is, and we are not liable for indirect losses (lost revenue, lost data you did not back up, loss of community or reputation), for what your bots or the Copilot’s approved actions do, or for interruptions caused by third parties.

13. Intellectual property

We keep our rights; you keep yours.

The Bot Creator software, name, logo and documentation belong to the publisher or its licensors; some components are open source under their own licences (the apps list them). You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the apps and services under these terms. Do not copy, resell or reverse engineer them beyond what the law and those licences allow.

14. Changes to these terms

We tell you before changes that matter.

We may update these terms, for example when the service or the law changes. We will announce material changes in the app (in-app announcement) and on our Discord server before they apply. We do not hold your email address unless you gave one, so these are our channels of notice. If you keep using Bot Creator after that date, you accept the new version; if you do not, you can delete your account.

15. Law, disputes and contact

French law applies; consumers keep their own protections.

These terms are governed by French law, without removing the mandatory protections of the consumer law of your country of residence. Write to us first: [email protected].

If you are a consumer and have not been able to resolve a dispute after a dated written complaint to us, you may refer it free of charge to our consumer mediator, MEDIATION CONSOMMATION DEVELOPPEMENT / MED CONSO DEV (c/o Centre d’Affaires Stephanois, Immeuble L’Horizon, Esplanade de France, 3 rue J. Constant Milleret, 42000 Saint-Etienne, France; www.medconsodev.eu), under the conditions of section 15 of the Terms of Sale. Courts of your place of residence stay competent as provided by law.
